While it has FINALLY gotten cold enough for me to truly start enjoying my Fall Wardrobe, Spring Trends are already here! Obviously I’m drooling already. Lucky for me I don’t restrict myself to what is “Typical” for fall. If I can wear it now, I’m going to! 

There were so many amazing shows for the Spring Season. However, there were a few that really stuck out to me. I’m a huge fan of the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s which is quite apparent in my Thrift Hauls. I feel with every passing season in the last 2 years it’s being introduced more an more.

My FAVORITE show of the entire season had to be Isabel Marant’s 2019 Spring Ready-to-Wear line. It is literally the epitome of EVERYTHING I love about 80’s fashion. From the Acid wash denim to the metallic accents and slouchy boots. There also was a very definite Western Vibe to it all. I wanted everything! Lol. Although it’s for the Spring Season I will definitely be incorporating many of these looks into my current fall wardrobe.

The “Isabel Marant” look is really quite easy to accomplish AND affordable which is the best part. That’s exactly why I love Thrift/Vintage shopping. Not to mention with all the fashion blasts from the past we’ve been getting on the runways, it’s easier to recreate a look than ever before! If you’re a regular thrifter that means you’re down for the hunt.

Isabel Marant Thrift Hit List

• Target items with a Western Vibe. Examples being anything with fringe and V-shaped detailing around the collar.

• Different colors and variations of acid wash denim. If you can score a jumpsuit, AMAZING!

• Metallic or Acid Wash bottoms with a jogger silhouette. Solid colors like black and white would work as well.

• Tops/Dresses with high or boat neck collars. Also look for asymmetrical shoulders with one sleeve.

• Bohemian Blouses/Dresses with balloon sleeves.

• Slouchy pointed toes boots.

• Long-line Denim Vests
