There is no season I love dressing for more than Fall. In my opinion fall is the time of year where you can truly showcase your personal style. Outfits are more interesting because of all the different ways you can play with layering and New York streets seems to come alive with the start of fashion week. As you know I am an avid Thrifter but I still find inspiration for what I am going to thrift by looking to the runways and styles coming in to the fast fashion stores. Leather is such a versatile fabric. It can be dressed up, dressed down, edged up and pretty much styled to fit anyone’s personal style. Not to mention the right leather piece will add interest to even the most basic of outfits! I own sooooo many leather pieces in various colors and styles for this reason. You can always find great Faux pieces that have a real leather look or feel. But I personally love the durability of real leather. Most of my leather is thrifted because it’s much more affordable that way. However, sometimes you spot some amazing pieces only available retail. It’s my #1 wardrobe staple all around!

My favorite style of leather is Vintage. There is something about a vintage leather piece that stands out from the rest. Most times vintage has that one unique element that is not available on current pieces. I typically go for a vintage piece over a more modern piece if I want to be sure I’m the only one wearing it lol!
